Meet our team here at Jaycliffe

Mike

Mike has always had dogs growing up but could never find a kennels he was happy putting his dogs in. They didn’t meet his high standards of care and exercise he believed necessary. He bought Jaycliffe so he could create an environment that is perfect for dogs to be happy, loved and well exercised.

If he is happy to board his dogs here, then I know it will be a happy place for your loved ones to spend their holidays.

Corey

Corey is the manager at Jaycliffe and has been an animal lover all his life. He left his career in the Royal Air Force to work along side his family and run the business. Having had cats, dogs and rabbits since a young age, it was a very easy decision to make the career change to the animal care industry. Corey will be found in the office, managing staff and running the day to day business.

Finlay

Fin is Mikes youngest son, he lives at Jaycliffe and loves walking his two dogs Casper and Nala. He manages the maintenance of the kennels and will ofter be seen making improvements to the facilities.

During busy periods he will assist the kennel staff with their daily tasks and loves exercising the dogs in our many off lead areas.

Claire

Claire has worked at Jaycliffe since 2012. She loves all animals and has 4 dogs and 5 horses. She works in both the kennels and cattery and would hate a regular office job. She is far happier working with animals and meeting their owners.

Adele

Adele first started here as work experience and having tried other jobs she returned and is now our receptionist. She loves working with all types of animals, especially the dogs and likes interacting with the customers. She has a Rottweiler, Welsh Collie cross called Bumble who she often brings to work as she loves running around and playing with the other dogs.

Jo

Joanne has worked here since 2019 as our groomer and loves working with the variety of dogs that visit us to be groomed. She owns a dog called Teddy, who is a Pomeranian and he loves to come to work every day with Jo and play with his doggy friends. Jo has three horses called Marlowe, Angel and Tinka and loves riding them with her daughter Abbey.

Leonie Wheatley-Green

Leo has worked at Jaycliffe as a groomer since 2021, she also helps in the kennels when required. She loves animals and has two large dogs, two rabbits and reptiles. Previously she has owned rats, ducks and has spent a lot of time riding and being around horses. She joined with five years of experience working with dogs, initially in a day care centre before qualifying as a groomer several years ago.

John

John first joined Jaycliffe in 2007 and is now the Maintenance Manager. He covers many roles, including driving the van collecting and delivering our furry customers. John is a family man who loves to stay active with his children and his 3 dogs. He is always on the go and loves nothing better than building his projects to make the pets experience better.
